Dr. Antonio R. Solis Jr. Is Committed to Giving the Best in Care

Born and raised in El Paso, Dr. Antonio R. Solis Jr. grew up in the Lower Valley. He has spent years serving his hometown, offering leading-edge dental care with the essential personal touch. For Dr. Solis, dentistry is more than fixing teeth and improving smiles. It’s also about helping community members achieve oral and overall health and building relationships in the process.

Dr. Solis attended Riverside High School, El Paso Community College, and the University of Texas at El Paso. After completing his undergraduate studies, he was accepted at the prestigious UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. After receiving his DDS, Dr. Solis returned to his hometown.

Starting at a patient’s first visit, Dr. Solis takes time to establish open, clear communication. He asks insightful questions about the person’s dental and overall health, their smile desires, and their personal concerns. Just as important, he really listens to the person’s answers.

Using what he learns from the conversation, Dr. Solis then determines the dental and orthodontic options that address the person’s clinical and personal needs. Working closely with his patient, they talk over the different approaches and decide which will best fit with the person’s life.

Dr. Solis is committed to providing advanced, ethical care and only recommends treatment that he’d suggest to his own family. He is also committed to lifelong learning. Ongoing developments in technology, materials, and techniques offer exciting new treatment options. Through continuing education, Dr. Solis ensures he’s providing patients the best dental and orthodontic care.

Through studies in implant dentistry at the Misch International Implant Institute and cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute, Dr. Solis stays current on changes in the field. He has also extensively studied orthodontics, including sleep apnea appliances.

His post-graduate coursework in orthodontics has led Dr. Solis to offer preventive, early orthodontic treatment for his younger patients. In many cases, this eliminates the need for extensive interventional or corrective orthodontic care in teens and young adults.
